Kilroy is back. If you’ve been observant, you may have seen cartoon drawings of a man peeking over a wall on billboards, store windows and signs around town this month. The character is Kilroy, and the drawing was a popular piece of graffiti drawn by American troops in the Atlantic Theater and later the Pacific

Honoring our Heroes: Veterans Day Parade and Program

On November 9, be sure to go Downtown for the annual Veterans Day Parade. It will start at the corner of Main and Lincoln at 2:00PM and end at the Veterans Memorial at Main and Center. Additionally, head over to the Hancock Historical Museum between the hours of 1:00-5:00PM for a special program honoring our Veterans. Learn

Local Veterans Visit Nation’s Capital Monuments Through Annual Flag City Honor Flight

The 4th flight of Flag City Honor Flight (FCHF), the Findlay-based hub of the National Honor Flight Network, took place on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. A total of 31 WWII veterans, 45 Korean War veterans, and one veteran of the Vietnam War (plus guardians) journeyed to Washington D.C. to visit the nation’s landmark war memorials.
