We have received many questions about how else to help Flag City Honor Flight, besides signing up as a Volunteer or a Guardian.
The costs for a flight are made up of plane charter, bus transportation in Washington, D.C., meals, administrative fees, memorabilia for the Veterans and more. Altogether, a flight costs approximately $85,000.00, all fully funded by public donation.
May we suggest you sponsor a Veteran. A simple sum allows a Veteran to gaze on the magnificence of the World War II Memorial, the elegant and somber Changing of the Guard, and for a day, to be a Hero again.
Donations to Flag City Honor Flight above $25.00 are tax-deductible.
